上升 学院

is a first-一年 experience 奖学金 program that starts in the Summer or Fall semester with an introductory five-week college course, support workshops, targeted advising, and continues with holistic student support throughout the student’s first academic 一年. 在 上升 学院, the student will participate in workshops, build relationships with classmates, explore career options and learn the “ins and outs” of college life.

All incoming full-time freshmen students and transfer students with no more than 23 credit hours earned at a prior college or university, who apply and are admitted to 188bet金宝搏官网登录网址 with a completed Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) 有资格. Students must successfully complete the first 5-weeks of the 上升 学院 program during one of our two summer cohorts or during the fall cohort in order to be eligible to receive the tuition 奖学金.

Full-time enrollment is 12 or more credit hours in both the fall and spring semesters.

上升 学院 starts with a 5-week course that starts in either the Summer or Fall prior 报名参加全日制课程. 上升 学院 provides targeted advising and continues with holistic student support throughout 学年. 的 5周组 runs Monday through Friday (daytime courses, 工作坊及联谊活动). • Textbook vouchers to eliminate and/or reduce the cost of textbooks.

Note: This can be done prior to completing the 5周组. 食宿费用 (formerly known as room and board) are not covered by the 上升 学院 Scholarship. Students are encouraged to use other means of financial aid to pay for food and 住房 (以前称为食宿)费用.

In order to be eligible to live in the residence halls, students must be enrolled full-time (at least 12-credit hours) during both the Fall and Spring semesters. Students need to meet all 住房 requirements prior to being eligible to live on 去学校.

住房 and Residence Life (HRL) is a first come and first serve basis in terms of 住房. 的refore, it is up to the student to complete all necessary requirements 住在校园里.
